Where did the nickname “Ratchet” come from, anyways? I’m going to assume it was our dad. Anyhow. I might do away with this blog soon to focus more on my cartoon website (working on it, should be viewable tomorrow) and Defining Etiquette, but still thought I should mention, while it’s here, that today is my sister Rachael’s birthday! Woohoo! Happy birthday, Sis! Rachael is celebrating the way every 31-year-old should: she’s going to a Britney Spears concert!
I wish I could have been there to babysit the boys for the night, but I’m sure I will have that opportunity when I make multiple trips home this summer. I can’t wait. In the meantime, I hope Charly is showing Rachael a good time and Tivo-ing all the Jay Cutler highlights on ESPN.
P.S. Has anyone ever noticed that Rachael’s initials are R.E.O., like R.E.O. Speedwagon?

But according to facebook she’s now Rachael Eileen “Orfield” Marggraf. REOM stands for Reduced Equations Of Motion, in case you’re interested.

Thanks, Neil. Cuz it just isn’t really your birthday until somebody blogs about it.

Don’t do it! The minute you let go of the rights to “Neilorfield.com” someone will snap it up and make millions. It is an institution!
